June 10, 2020: Measures for the first phase of deconfinement per Zone

Please write the name of the province or prefecture in the box below (search), to know the zone (1 or 2) in which it is located.

Zone 1: If you are in zone 1, from June 11, 2020

  • You can go out without needing the exit document within the prefecture or province.
  • You can use urban public transport (up to 50% of the capacity);
  • You can travel within the territorial area of the residence, without the compulsory provision of a mandatory exit certificate (only the presentation of the national electronic identity card);
  • You can re-open your own hairdressing and beauty salon, while using no more than 50% of the capacity;
  • You may use public open-air spaces (parks, gardens, public places, etc.);
  • You can do individual outdoor sports activities (walking, cycling, etc…);

However, the other restrictions established in the event of a health emergency (prohibition of gatherings, meetings, weddings, funerals, etc.) … are maintained in Zone 1.


Zone 2: If you are in zone 2, from June 11, 2020

  • You’ll still need the exit certificate to go out
  • In your area. store closures are set for 8:00 p.m;
  • You can use urban public transport with maximum capacity utilization of 50%;

However, the other restrictions established in the event of a health emergency (prohibition of gatherings, meetings, weddings, funerals, etc.) … are maintained in Zone 1.


More information on the first phase of deconfinement

In the first phase, starting on 11 June 2020, the easing of containment restrictions will be initiated as follows:

A restart of economic activities at the national level :
Industrial activities ;
Commercial activities;
Traditional handicraft activities;
Local activities and minor local occupations ;
Local trade/shops;
Liberal professions and similar occupations;
Reopening of weekly markets.

Cafés, restaurants (except take-away and home delivery services), hammams, cinemas and theatres will not be allowed to re-open their doors to the public.

The situation in the provinces and regions will be assessed weekly, according to the situation in the two regions and according to the criteria set by the health authorities. This page will be updated if there are any changes.
