I. The classification criteria adopted :
Countries are classified into three levels of risk according to scientific criteria and epidemiological indicators using different data sources commonly used by different international bodies and based on a composite indicator taking into consideration the following different epidemiological indicators:
The proportion of active cases estimated from the cumulative number of cases in the last 28 days out of all cases diagnosed since the beginning of the epidemic:
- <10%: Low level
- 10% – 50%: Medium level
- 50% High level
Cumulative incidence /100,000 population in the last 14 days:
- <10 / 100,000: Low level
- 10/ 100,000 and 60/ 100,000: Average level
- 60/ 100,000: High level
The changing trend since the first case was recorded
- Downward: Low level
- Stationary: Medium level
- On the rise: High level
Epidemiological modalities:
- Sporadic cases: low level
- Case clusters: medium level
- Community transmission: high level
Number of cases registered in the last 7 days.
Testing capacity of the country.
Proximity and intensity of exchanges with Tunisia.
