The government decides to end the national curfew

Further easing of health restrictions. The vaccination pass is still maintained.

The government has decided, on the basis of the recommendations of the Scientific and Technical Commission, to take a series of measures, including the lifting, as of Wednesday 10 November, of the ban on night-time travel throughout the national territory.

This decision follows the positive results of the national vaccination campaign and its impact on the improvement of the epidemiological situation, and in accordance with the legal provisions relating to the management of the state of health emergency, says a government statement on Tuesday 9 November.

Suppression of the vaccination pass for domestic travel

Other measures have also been taken, including the maintenance of the obligation to present the vaccination pass or the certificate of exemption from vaccination for travel abroad and for access to all closed spaces (work premises, tourist establishments, shops, cafés, restaurants, sports halls, hammams and other public services).

This also includes authorising travel between prefectures and provinces without the presentation of any document, the organisation of funerals, ceremonies and festivals, in strict compliance with the preventive measures in force.

The closure of areas where large gatherings take place or where large numbers of people gather is maintained. The government affirms that it will ensure regular assessment on the ground, closely monitor all daily developments at regional and local levels, and take the necessary closure measures to preserve the health of citizens.

It also calls on everyone to continue to respect the preventive and sanitary measures , and invites the non-vaccinated and those concerned by the third dose to go to the health centres available to them to be vaccinated, in order to strengthen efforts to speed up the return to normal life.
