Communiqué of the Council of Ministers – The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Sunday chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers, which was endorsed by a communiqué:

The Council approved the following:

– Increase from 30 to 50% the reduction of the operating budget.
– This reduction includes the expenses of the State and its institutions.
– Exemption from tax of income less than or equal to DA 30,000 as from 1 June next.
– Revaluation of the guaranteed minimum wage from next June 1st of 2000 DA to reach 20.000 DA.
– Abolition of the controlled declaration system for the liberal professions.
– Adoption of the proposals emanating from the Ministry of Industry and Mines relating to the revival of the industrial sector.

School year 2019-2020: the final decision taken on Sunday in the Council of Ministers

The Council of Ministers, held on Sunday by videoconference, decided to form a commission chaired by the Prime Minister, which will be entrusted with the mission of formulating the necessary proposals to complete the current school year, the final decision to be taken next Sunday in the Council of Ministers.

Statistics: President Tebboune calls for digitalisation to become more widespread

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who on Sunday chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers held by videoconference, called for the generalization of digital technology in all sectors to put an end to approximate statistics which do not help in any way to establish a strong economy.
