Launch of a national campaign to disinfect mosques in Oran

The Minister of Religious Affairs and Wakfs, Youcef Belmehdi, kicked off Monday from Oran a national campaign of disinfection and sterilization of mosques, as part of preventive measures against the Coronavirus pandemic.

Youcef Belmehdi explained that this campaign “does not mean the opening of mosques after Eid, but to explain that as long as we respect the preventive measures, we will reduce the duration of containment”.

He added that the campaign is “a message to all Algerians that we are legally and legally bound to respect all preventive measures that protect us from this deadly pandemic”.
