Towards the distribution of 250,000 protective masks to citizens in Oran
The wilaya of Oran will receive next week 250,000 masks provided by the Government and which will be distributed free of charge to citizens as part of prevention measures against the coronavirus epidemic, the wilaya’s secretary general was told Thursday.

Masks distributed free of charge to vulnerable people from the weekend onwards
Protective masks against COVID-19 will be distributed free of charge for the benefit of vulnerable people by the walis from this weekend throughout the country, the Minister Delegate in charge of the pharmaceutical industry, Lotfi Benbahmed, announced Thursday at the APS.

Eid El Fitr: Nearly 43,000 merchants requisitioned to ensure the permanence
Nearly 43,000 merchants across the national territory will be requisitioned to ensure the permanence during the two days of Eid El Fitr and allow citizens to make their daily purchases, Trade Minister Kamel Rezig said Thursday in Algiers.

The working hours according to Aid El Fitr fixed
The working hours according to the Aid El Fitr until May 29th have been set taking into account the measures of home containment planned as part of the prevention against COVID-19, said Thursday a press release from the Civil Service.
– from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for personnel working in the wilaya of Blida (under confinement from 2 p.m. until 7 a.m. the next day).
– from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for staff working in the wilayas of Bejaia, Tlemcen, Tizi-Ouzou, Algiers, Sétif, Médéa, Oran, Tipasa and Ain-Defla (under confinement from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following day)
– from 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. for staff working in other wilayas (under confinement from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next day)
The Directorate-General for the Civil Service points out, however, that staff excluded from partial home confinement measures and those with special authorisation to travel during confinement hours remain subject to the normal working hours laid down by the regulations in force”.
On May 12, the partial confinement at home to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as all the accompanying preventive measures were renewed for an additional period of fifteen (15) days, i.e. until May 29, as announced in a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s office.

Aid El Fitr: the Prime Minister clarifies partial containment
“Following the requests for clarification on the additional prevention measures decided by the Prime Minister on the occasion of Eid El Fitr, as regards the restrictions on the movement of vehicles, the Prime Minister’s Office provides the following clarifications:
“Traffic will be suspended for all vehicles, including motorcycles, throughout the first and second day of the feast of Eid El Fitr,” said the Prime Minister, noting that this measure concerns “all wilayas and remains applicable, including outside the hours of partial confinement at home,” scheduled from 13:00 until the next day at 07:00, the same source noted.
